The Young Reader's Choice Award and the Sasquatch Reading Award both offer students a chance to vote for their favorite chapter books in regional (YRCA) and state (Sasquatch) contests. In our school library we have all the Sasquatch books as well as the nominees in the grades 4-6 category for the YRCA.
Voting will take place in the school library in late March. Students must have read either 2 (Sasquatch) or 3 (YRCA) nominees to be eligible to vote. Consider these titles when you're visiting your public library. Many of them would make delightful family readalouds!
